The Gate by Our Daily Bread Designs

The Gate by Our Daily Bread Designs is the scripture stamp I chose to enter their 7th Anniversary challenge today.   I also used the Guilded Gates Dies by ODBD. The background paper is from the Rustic Beauty Collection by ODBD. The green swirl is a die called Jewel Flowers and Flourishes by Spellbinders.

I love to use scripture stamps on my cards.  They are so encouraging and uplifting to send to friends.

Bicycle Birthday Card

This week I'm showing you a card I made for a recipe challenge with my local stamp group.  The recipe called for three patterned papers, two embellishments, one ribbon, and one stamped image.  I've used bicycle2stamp along with the matching die from The Stamps of Life for the focal image.  The card base is a Elegant Stand Up card die by Sizzix and Stephanie Bennard.  The patterned paper is Celebrate Collection Paper Pad, also from The Stamps of Life.  I colored the bicycle with Copic markers and stamped the sentiments with Blueberry Colorbox Ink by The Stamps of Life.  My two embellishments are two turquoise jewels on the spokes of the wheels and I added one blue ribbon.

Thanks for visiting my blog this week.  Blessings!

Red Rubber Inspirational - For the Boys

Today I am submitting a card for the Red Rubber Inspirational Challenge - For the Boys.  This challenge is to do a masculine card.  My card uses two stamp sets from Red Rubber Designs.  One is Eyes to See Cling Mount Rubber Stamp set and the other is Masterpiece Cling Mount Rubber Stamp set.

To make my card, I used Rich Cocoa Memento ink and stamped the background using several of the stamps in the set on to kraft cardstock.  The main image is stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I also sponged ink around the edges of the image and popped it up on the front of the card.  I tied a brown twill ribbon around the card, adding a masculine touch without a bow.

This card was sent to a special friend, Pee Wee Insall, in my Bible study class, who just had his second kidney removed.  The whole class signed the card for him.

Have a blessed day!  Thanks for coming to my blog.
